Dr. Tanya Russo answered. Antipyretics: Since Mucinex (guaifenesin) DM does not contain acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil), these common over the counter pain and fever reducing medications can be used along with Mucinex (guaifenesin) DM without concern of drug interaction.
