As you know, babies come in all sizes and shapes, so diapers fit a bit differently on every baby. To keep things simpler, Pampers diapers sizes are based on baby weight—not things like age or gender. Most of the time, your baby's weight will fall neatly within the range of a certain diaper size, producing a good fit.

I think so. I was able to but I'm very small. However I think girls might have a better chance at fitting into them rather then boys. I guess it just depends on the size of you and the size of the diapers. I think tho that adult diapers might be more comfortable but baby diapers might make you feel more infintile.

And I sadly have to say, "Usually not." Like one-size-fits-all t-shirts, one-size cloth diapers usually do not fit all newborn babies. They are often not small enough at the legs to fit a tiny newborn, and they almost always would cover the umbilical cord, which needs to remain dry and uncovered until it falls off.

Newborn diapers Most standard newborn diapers are designed to fit babies up to 10lbs. But, as we know, all babies are different and each diaper brand can fit a little differently also. Most newborn diapers do have an umbilical cord cut-out, a small “dip” in the front of the diaper where a baby’s umbilical stump usually is.

Babies born prematurely or with low weight may not fit newborn diapers when they are born. It may take them several weeks or months to fit newborn diapers, depending on how low their weight at birth is and how fast they gain weight.

Baby diaper sizes is not dependent on age but on the child’s weight although different brands offer approximate sizes for each age group. Diaper sizes come in size N to 6 for use of newborns until over 4 years old. By weight, the smallest will fit up to 10 lbs baby to less than 35 lbs.

The number one rule when choosing our baby’s diapers is choosing the right size. Although we understand at times this can be hard since baby’s sizes often change. Some new parents might ask themselves how long do babies stay at a certain size but well that depends on their growth rate. How long do babies stay in size 1, 2, 3 diapers?
