Some of Ruth’s descendants have participated in historical baseball events: Babe Ruth Descendants, MLB Legends Set for Hot Springs Baseball Weekend and been sought out by the press for comment when Ruth’s records are chased down: Babe's family wants no part of Bonds celebrations.

Born George Herman Ruth Jr .on February 6, 1895, in Baltimore, Maryland, one of George Herman Ruth and Kate Schamberger's eight children. Of the eight, only George Jr. and a sister, Mamie, survived. Babe Ruth didn’t become her father until 18 months after he married her mother, Claire, on April 17, 1929, Opening Day of the baseball season. Julia was 12 years old. She had spent the night at a girlfriend’s house and learned the news from a wet newspaper she saw on the sidewalk outside her school.

Of course not. Babe was poorly educated, and, when he left St. Mary’s Industrial School in 1914, he was crude and vulgar. He referred to Italian-Americans as “Wops”, Irish-Americans as “Micks” and German-Americans (among whom he was included) as ‘Krauts.” Babe may have even used the “n-word;” there is no record either way.
